Simpact 80A is a low odor, fast-setting Shore 80A urethane that offers very high tear strength, impact and wear resistance. Simpact 80A is phthalate free, mercury free and MOCA free. Mixed 100A : 60B by weight, Simpact 80A pours easily. Working time is 15 minutes, handling time is 4 hours and full cure time is 48 hours at room temperature. Cured rubber has exceptional performance characteristics and dimensional stability. Simpact 80A can be colored with SO-Strong, UVO or Ignite colorants. Simpact 80A is suitable for making resistant props, prototypes, rubber mechanical parts and display pieces.
Simpact 80A offers exceptional UV resistance and can be combined with URE-FIL 13 filler to create high strength simulated vines, branches, etc. for zoos and other themed environments. See separate Vine Making bulletin for instructions.
This material may congeal if exposed to cold temperatures. To reconstitute, Part A & B must be heated to 90 deg F (33 deg C) then thoroughly mixed to an even consistency.
