Description
Sil-Poxy© is a one component adhesive made specifically for bonding RTV silicone rubber to silicone rubber and other substrates including some plastics (urethane), plasters/ceramics, fabrics, wood, etc. Sil-Poxy© will work with tin- or platinum-cure silicones and provides a strong, flexible bond between silicone parts with high elongation. Meets testing standards as per the OECD TG 439 skin safe certification. OECD TG 439 testing uses simulated tissue grown in a lab and is considered a valid, more humane test.
Can be colored with Silc-Pig© silicone pigments. Cured adhesive resists weathering, moisture, UV and high temperatures. Sil-Poxy© can be used repairing torn silicone rubber molds. Other applications include bonding silicone for prosthetics and animatronics.
