Description
Lightweight S-glass plain weave fabric. Thread count of 18 x 18 threads per inch. Thickness of 8 mils. Similar construction to E-glass Style 7533 fabric. Wets out clear. Though visually quite similar, S-glass has a different chemical composition from that of E-Glass. S-glass has approximately 30% more tensile strength, and 15% more stiffness than E-Glass and retains these properties up to 1500 F. S-glass also has a superior impact strength and abrasion resistance. Compatible with Smooth-On EpoxAmite Laminating Epoxies. Sold by the meter.
